We discovered Segovia by accident when we needed to find a hotel in Spain en route between southern France and northern Portugal. What an amazing discovery!

Not only is Segovia surrounded by beautiful countryside, but it also has a massive castle downtown, an impressive cathedral downtown, and a giant Roman aqueduct downtown.  So much in such a small package - like a gift basket of treats! Segovia is sure to impress!

We are talking WOW here.  Such a total gem of a city and I would put Segovia in the top 5 destinations in Spain after Seville, Madrid, Barcelona and Cádiz.
