"Hidden Gems of Spain and Portugal" is a travel blog dedicated to sharing some of the lesser-known treasures of these captivating Iberian destinations. I have not been everywhere, so this list is certainly not complete, but I'm sharing where I've been and the places I've enjoyed. I aim to guide you off the beaten track in Spain and Portugal, sharing unique insights and stories that showcase the rich culture, history, and landscapes of Spain and Portugal. Basically, I'm sharing my own photos and experiences of my family living in Spain and travelling throughout Spain and Portugal.

The blog is curated and authored by moi, Melissa, a passionate explorer originally from Canada, now calling Spain home for the past seven years. With a love for endless adventures in Spain and Portugal, I am excited to share the hidden gems discovered during this vibrant journey.

I strive to provide fresh and engaging content regularly. That said, I am a busy mum of two, wife and professional. I don't always have the time to post. While the frequency may vary, you can expect new travel posts to be shared at least monthly!
